Auditor's Conveyance Fee:

The State of Ohio levies a tax on all real estate transfers of ten cents per $100.00 of sales price ($1.00 per thousand). The law allows individual counties to increase the tax. An example of this is Montgomery County where we have a $1.00 per thousand State tax and a $1.00 per thousand County tax for a total transfer tax or conveyance fee of $2.00 per thousand of sales price.

Clermont County$3.00 per thousand
Clark County$2.00 per thousand
